FOR RENT: Los Angeles

We all know things got bad in 2020. But when I started walking around my neighborhood, I saw the signs. Specifically For Rent signs. All over the traditionally working class and Central American pocket of LA I live in between Koreatown and East Hollywood. It made me stop and think: What happened to the people who left? Where were they now? How does this connect to getting more people off the street and into permanent housing?

Hoping not to forget the people and city that came before me – I decided to document some of what I saw.
